Mother-Daughter Lookalike Contest Results

A heartfelt thank you to all of the people who shared their family photos and submitted them for our Fun 107 Mother-Daughter Lookalike Contest.

First off, we unveiled the idea for the contest one Friday night. By the end of the weekend, we were rounding home on 700 entries. We had never anticipated getting that much engagement. Who knew there were so many lookalike mother/daughter combos walking around the SouthCoast, but you proved us wrong!

We quickly assembled a panel of judges, bribed them with pizza and asked them to narrow down the 700 to 107. To be exact, it was actually 108 (the last one was the .1 in our 107.1).

From there, the audience took control of the reigns. Voting was active through Mother's Day, and we called the winner on Michael and Maddie on Monday morning.

There were two entries that were neck-and-neck for most of the weekend and into Mother's Day. When all of the official votes were tallied, here is what we were looking at for the Top 3.

3.  Jennifer and Madison in Dartmouth

If Jennifer tried a middle part, she might pass for Madison's sister. Just sayin'. They earned 273 votes.

2.  Allison and Sydnee from Middleboro

Allison and her little mini-me sent this one in from Middleboro. They gave our first-place duo a run for their money.  They earned 1,454 votes.

1.  Andrea and Jessica from Fall River

Andrea and Jessica were the top vote-getters in our mother/daughter lookalike contest.  They earned a whopping 1,651 votes.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the SouthCoast's moms. We hope you felt special this weekend.
