Middleboro’s Brack’s Tavern Has a Must-Try Sticky Southern Sauce
As Fun 107's Restaurant Week rolls on, The MGM Show is making its way across the SouthCoast, exploring unique eateries and hidden gems.
Today we kicked off Day 4 at Brack’s Tavern in Middleboro, the newest addition to the Brack’s family. Brack's Tavern was formerly known as Boston Tavern.
Brack’s also has locations in Brockton, Newport and Taunton, but Middleboro is the latest to join the lineup.

While it shares DNA with its sister restaurants, Brack’s Tavern offers a slightly different menu with a more laid-back, rustic selection. Personally, I was impressed with the options and excited to see that some fan favorites from Boston Tavern made the cut.
One standout?
Well, it's a personal favorite of mine, though it’s more about the sauce than the actual dish. I’m happy to report that The Old Grandaddy Sticky Southern Wings have made the transition from Boston Tavern to Brack’s, and let me tell you, that’s a very smart move by owner Frank Brack.
This sauce is outstanding.
If you enjoy flavors similar to General Tso’s or sweet chili, you’ll love this. It brings the same sweet, sticky goodness but with an added layer of smoked hickory. There’s a mild kick, just enough to notice but nothing that’ll have you reaching for a glass of milk.
The sauce is thick, sticky, and absolutely finger-licking good. You’ll be scraping your plate for every last drop.

I’m a sucker for anything sweet and savory (or sweet heat), so call me biased, but this sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. It was so good that I ended up putting it on my burger and even dipping my fried green beans in it.
Take my advice: ask your server for a side of Old Grandaddy Sticky Southern Sauce and thank me later.
