Dartmouth Wingstop Prepares for Soft Opening This Weekend on Route 6

The wait for Wingstop in Dartmouth is just about over.

Earlier this year, we broke the news that Wingstop was planning to open a new location at 341 State Road in Dartmouth. Since then, anyone driving along Route 6 has been able to watch the progress as the popular chicken chain prepared to make its SouthCoast debut.

Now, we finally have an update on when those doors will open.

Wingstop Dartmouth Soft Opening This Weekend

Michael Panagakos of Panagakos Development & Design gave us the heads-up that the Dartmouth Wingstop is preparing for a soft opening this weekend over at the 341 State Road location. An exact day and time for the soft opening have not yet been announced, but it's good to know that the Dartmouth location is officially entering its final stretch.

Wingstop is best known for its wings, boneless wings and chicken tenders tossed in a variety of sauces and dry rubs. The menu also includes its signature seasoned fries, so make sure you get your hands on Wingstop's popular Cajun Fried Corn or Buffalo Ranch Fries.

The Dartmouth restaurant is one of two Wingstop locations coming to the SouthCoast. Panagakos previously confirmed that another is planned for 1090 Kings Highway in New Bedford where Aaron's once stood, where construction plans are already underway. For now, though, Dartmouth gets first dibs.
