Meet Hogan, the Five to Six-Year-Old Cattle Dog Mix [CAUSE FOR PAWS]
UPDATE: Hogan has been adopted! Here he is with his new brother.
ORIGINAL POST:
Hogan, the five-to-six-year-old cattle dog mix, is available for adoption from Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford.
What's up! My name is Hogan. I'm as cool as a cucumber. All I wanna do is lay around and get belly rubs from my humans. I'm sweet and loving with people and get along with other dogs, I just want to say hi to everyone! I don't play much because of my energy level, but Im happy to hang with other dogs just fine! I'm an overweight dude. Honestly, as much as I'd love to ignore the issue and just consume all of the treats possible, I need someone who will put me on a diet and take me on leisurely walks so I can feel good again. I'm in a foster home. My foster mom has cats and we get along cause I love everyone, I even tried to make friends with a skunk but he smelt really bad, but I didn’t mind. If you'd like to meet me, call or email the volunteers. They'll let you know when I'm available to meet you. Actually, I'm always available cause I pretty much lounge around doin' dog things so I guess it's up to my foster mom and her availability.
Please contact the Lighthouse Animal Shelter for more information on Hogan. You can also start the adoption process online or schedule a time to meet him. ABOUT OUR PARTNERS
Lighthouse Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization that works to promote the welfare of animals at risk of euthanasia. In addition, we work with the community to maximize efforts in reducing pet overpopulation. We rescue all of our dogs from high-kill shelters down south (the majority being from Kentucky, South Carolina, and North Carolina) and transport them to our shelter for adoption. The adoption fee for all dogs is $375. This helps cover the cost of medical care received. All dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
