Match.com Sets Up New Feature To Have First Date At Starbucks
Match.com has created a new feature on their website that allows users to send a "Meet At Starbucks" invitation to their matches.
Valentine's day is coming up soon so Match.com has come out with a new feature that allows its users to suggest whoever they are matched with, to have their first date at Starbucks. According to Adage.com, the "Meet at Starbucks" feature allows Match users to send an invite for a coffee date. They can also find a location for the date using Starbuck's store locator.
Many Match.com users have said that their favorite first date activity is to get coffee with their match up and Starbucks has said that in the past few months, "hundreds of thousands of members have added a Starbucks badge to show their love for the brand on their profiles."
The company launched the feature in a branding campaign this September. Starbucks and Match will be putting together a world's largest Starbucks date on Friday, Feb. 13. Starbucks will be offering coffee and snack promotions, along with photo props so customers can take photos and share online, using the hashtag #StarbucksDate.
