‘Mamma Mia’ Auditions Tomorrow in New Bedford

If you are a fan of "Mamma Mia," this is your chance to be featured in the hit musical when it comes to New Bedford.

If you've always dreamed about bringing out your inner Sophie, or maybe you're a Donna or Rosie, tomorrow is your chance to audition for New Bedford Festival Theater's presentation of "Mamma Mia."

According to New Bedford Festival Theater's Facebook page, the show will take the Zeiterion Theater stage this summer for seven performances from July 19 to July 28. Rehearsals are set to begin Monday, July 1st.

Tomorrow's auditions will be held at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Theatre from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p..m. No appointments or pre-registration are necessary. The audition is on a walk-in basis only. Registration will start at 10:30 a.m. with auditions beginning at 11 a.m. Entrance will be open at the stage door at the rear of the Zeiterion on Acushnet Ave.

Casting will be on the lookout for people of "all ages, races, genders, shapes, and sizes with excellent singing abilities." Must be 16 years or older by July 1st. Auditions will include a read from a script.
