Radio stations from San Francisco want to help their Giants win the World Series any way they can, which includes boycotting Lorde's hit song with their opponent's name.

According to Fox News, two stations from San Francisco announced the decision on Friday to take 'Royals' off of their playlists until the World Series wraps up. If you don't know already, this is because the Giants are playing the Kansas City Royals in the World Series, which is baseball. The program director for one of the stations said their listeners told them to do it.

Kansas City radio stations are firing back to the Royals-haters by playing Lorde's song every hour on the hour between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, the day of the World Series start.

Fun 107 would like to show it's support for the Royals by never playing Scott Mckenzie's "San Francisco." Your welcome.
