Logan Souza is making a thriller on the SouthCoast and needs your help. He is turning his Hollywood experience into a hometown project.

The 19-year-old Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School graduate, who appeared on the Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That, is now writing, casting, and preparing to shoot his own movie on the SouthCoast.

Logan sat down with Fun 107 on his birthday to share the details.

What Is At the Nightmare's Edge About?

The film is called At the Nightmare's Edge. Set in the 1990s, it follows a group of kids as they confront a series of killings that date back to the early 1900s. Logan's character, Axel, leads a small crew that includes his brother and his brother's girlfriend. After an encounter with the killer, Axel is the only one to escape. Think Stranger Things meets The Goonies with a whodunit twist.

Logan wrote the script this summer, and it explores loss, acceptance, and the consequences of refusing to let go. He is splitting the story into two parts so the film does not run too long.

How Did And Just Like That Shape His Career?

On the hit series, Logan played Wyatt Shaw, the son of John Corbett's Aidan Shaw, and his character ruined a relationship. Viewers let him know how they felt in the Instagram comments. "It's kind of fun to play a part that people hate you for," Logan said. He still trades texts with Corbett.

How Can Locals Get Involved?

Logan is still casting one key role and is looking for a producer, an assistant director, and a set designer. He wants the crew to be local. "I'm very big on local for this film," he said. "I really want to bring light to the talent we have around us."
