When Love and Theft first came on the country music scene back in 2009, I was sixteen years old. Country music was just starting to take over my life, and "Love and Theft" is one of the bands that shaped me into the fanatic I am today. So you can imagine my excitement when Eric and Stephen agreed to sit down with me for an interview before their show in Foxborough, MA. My sixteen year old self rocked out to "Runaway" like nobody's business.

Kayla and I loaded my car with camera equipment and drove up to Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar and Grill" at Patriot Place. We had just enough time to set up before Stephen walked in and introduced himself (as if he had to!) Eric came in a couple minutes later and I was shocked to see how tall he was in person (6'3" because I know you're all wondering).

I will admit that I was a little anxious anticipating the interview, but all my nerves went away as soon as they sat down and we started talking. I still cannot believe how laid back and funny they were. Eric and Stephen are amazing musicians and terrific performers, but they honestly could give comedy a go if they ever decide to hang up their guitars for good. (Obviously I hope that never happens!)

I think their bond was the most refreshing thing about the entire experience. "Bromance" doesn't even begin to cover it. Their friendship is the kind you covet simply because it has "lifelong" written all over it. Stephen is even going to Eric's son Camden's second birthday, and taking his son, Jett with him for the celebration. Happy Birthday Camden!

They took a selfie with us after the interview, and gave us each a hug before heading out for their soundcheck. Kayla and I will never forget getting to meet two of the coolest guys in country. Hope Y'ALL like the video and get a good laugh today. And you can find their latest album, "Whiskey On My Breath" on iTunes now! Until then, you can watch the video below! Big thanks to the guys for sitting down with me for the best interview of my young career!
