
Judge Frank Caprio Goes Viral for Emotional Message on Life
Former Municipal Court Chief Judge Frank Caprio of Rhode Island captured the nation's heart thanks to his hugely popular television series Caught in Providence. Then, in December 2023, he made the heartbreaking announcement that he was battling pancreatic cancer.
While he continues his battle, the judge gave his followers a heartfelt reminder on Wednesday about the importance of living in the moment.
The emotional video has close to 4 million views as Judge Caprio has the entire country grabbing for the tissues.

Amidst his cancer battle, Caprio has remained lively online. From getting an honorable mention at the Providence College Friars basketball game to sharing his favorite pasta recipe, it’s so easy to love this man.
On Wednesday, while being interviewed by Astrid Rivera of Univision, Caprio’s post had a somber tone as he reminded us why it’s so important to live in the moment.
“Sometimes in life, we take things for granted,” the judge said as he fought back tears. “We have a nice life, we have a great position. ... We have a nice family and nice friends ... but you never know -- you never know from one day to the next what life will bring.”

He ended his heartfelt message by saying, “Enjoy what you have, be kind to people, (and) take care of your families.”
I think we all know that tomorrow is never guaranteed, but when you hear the message coming from a man battling an insidious form of cancer, the message becomes a little more real.
After watching Caprio's video, there is more urgency to live moment to moment and tell the people in my life how much I love them.
