The final installment of the Downton Abbey franchise hit big screens across America this month. Thousands of fans have been filling theaters saying good-bye to the cast they have known and loved for almost 15 years.

Yet with the end of the Downton Abbey era on screen finally here, so is the start of some tasty new flavors at Massachusetts' iconic J.P. Licks ice cream shops.

The beloved local ice cream maker is collaborating with the film to create a unique flavor for fans of Downton and of ice cream.

In collaboration with Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, J.P. Licks is serving up London Fog Ice Cream throughout the month of September.

What is London Fog Ice Cream?

This interesting new flavor takes J.P. Licks' beloved Sweet Cream ice cream and combines it with hints of lavender and Earl Grey tea. It's a tasty new twist of high tea for sure.

Don't panic if you can't get to a J.P. Licks in September however, because London Fog is a flavor option in beverage form all year long. The London Fog drink is a hot, tea-based latte with Earl Grey tea, steamed milk and vanilla syrup, no lavender in this one.
