Jimmy Fallon Playing Nic Cage Playing Joe Exotic Is Just Crazy Enough
Nicolas Cage is set to star in a scripted series centered on Joe Exotic of Tiger King fame. It will be the first regular TV role of Cage’s career; he's only ever done movies. I had thought David Spade would have been the perfect person to play Joe Exotic. Maybe he was too busy to take on the project.
And just when you thought there’s no way Jimmy Fallon could pull of a crazy amazing impersonation of Nicolas Cage playing Joe Exotic, think again.
We also hear that Joe Exotic is looking for President Trump to pardon him so that he gets out of prison. The president previously joked on April 8 that he might pardon Joe strictly for the memes "and just for frankly watching the media reaction to this thing." Rumor has it that Exotic plans to send his case file directly to the president. I'm thinking President Trump is a little too busy right now to be caring about Joe Exotic.
Michael and I vividly remember when Mandy Moore came to visit us at the radio station like two decades ago and it was her Sweet 16th birthday. We had a mini birthday party for her complete with a Sunrise Bakery birthday cake and we even sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Well, we all know since then, she’s gone on to do amazing things in the movie industry and of course, starring on the popular TV show This Is Us. She’s been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards for her role as Rebecca on the show. Well, these days she is married to the love of her life who is also an artist. His name is Taylor Goldsmith and he's a folk singer/songwriter who leads the band Dawes. So they are at home together during the pandemic and every week from their cozy living room, they play music and sing songs. By the way, she is capturing all of this on her Instagram page and they take requests, too. Here they are singing the song they sang to each other at their wedding last summer. Her voice is more beautiful now than ever. She's got a new album coming out soon, keep a watch for it.

Thanks for spending another Sunday evening with us. We’ll be back with more songs and singing cats next week. Here’s a clip of @dawestheband and I singing this Kris Kristofferson + Rita Coolidge classic (the song we sang to each other at our wedding). A post shared by Mandy Moore (@mandymooremm) on
And overnight the cat claws have come out and it’s all over the internet. Sally Singer was a longtime director for Vogue magazine and in my opinion, she chose the wrong girl to pick on and body shame in Jessica Simpson.
According to PageSix, In “Only at the Met” — an oral history of the annual ball, which was published on Vogue.com Tuesday — the magazine’s former creative digital director Sally Singer recalls of Simpson that “her breasts maybe fell out of her dress on the red carpet...and then at dinner it was suddenly like, whoa, Jessica Simpson’s breasts are across from me at the dinner table and they are on a platter and I’m looking at them.” Jessica responded to her on Instagram, and I am so glad she did.

Feeling a little like Jayne Mansfield after reading this (inaccurate!) oral history of the #MetBall where I am body shamed by #SallySinger (https://www.vogue.com/article/the-complete-met-gala-oral-history) 😜...But in all seriousness I have persevered through shaming my own body and internalizing the world’s opinions about it for my entire adult life. To read this much anticipated article about the classiest fashion event there is and have to be shamed by another woman for having boobs in 2020 is nauseating.
