Whether you are a fan of White Lotus or have watched the movie Legally Blonde hundreds of times like I have, chances are you love Jennifer Coolidge.

It turns out Harvard University agrees as they have named the Massachusetts native the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year.

Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals is the oldest theatrical organization in the United States. Since 1951, the Woman of the Year award has been given annually to performers who have made lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment.

Other notable winners have been Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and, most recently, Jennifer Garner.

For 2023, the award goes to the queen of one-liners with some of the best comedic timing in Hollywood. On Feb. 4, Coolidge will lead a parade through the streets of Harvard Square, followed by a celebratory roast in her honor that evening at Farkas Hall.

“We are so excited to welcome Jennifer Coolidge back to her hometown and to Harvard, the iconic setting of Legally Blonde, Man and Woman of the Year coordinator Maya Dubin said. “Her glittering personality and comedic presence are so Pudding.”

The past year has seemingly been the resurgence of Coolidge after her iconic roles in films such as American Pie and Legally Blonde. It brought her an Emmy award, two Critics Choice Awards and a Golden Globe Award.

Now, she can add the Pudding Pot to her growing shelf of accolades.

Coolidge has come a long way since portraying Stiffler’s mom.

Cheers to this Boston native turned superstar.
