Hungry Heroes in Fairhaven Unexpectedly Closes

We work right around the corner and we had no idea one of our favorite lunch spots closed their doors last week. 

According to Fairhaven Guide, Hungry Heroes closed up shop last week. While there is no confirmation on why they closed, Facebook comments say an increase in rent may have had something to do with the sudden departure. A look at the Hungry Heroes Facebook page didn't give any reason for closing, either.

Obviously, Facebook comments don't always hold true but much like other people, we did seriously enjoy Hungry Heroes and we're bummed to see them go from the plaza.

We'll update if we hear of them opening a new location elsewhere. For now, we'll say goodbye to our Boston steak and cheese subs. *tears*
