Exciting news if you enjoy shopping for unique items: A HomeGoods store will open this spring in Raynham, Massachusetts.

Parent company TJX Companies Inc. says the new store will be in the RK Center plaza at 600 South St. West (Route 44), next door to Burlington. HomeGoods will occupy the storefront vacated by Bed Bath & Beyond when that retailer went out of business.

A TJX press release invites shoppers to "stop in to find something spectacular, at a price that's equally so." The company says, "At HomeGoods Raynham, MA, you'll discover high-quality, handcrafted merchandise for every style and every room at significant savings."

TJX has 36 HomeGoods locations in Massachusetts, including Wareham, Seekonk, Plainville, Plymouth and Marshfield.

TJX also owns Sierra, Winners, HomeSense, Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores. Marshalls and TJ Maxx have several locations in the area., including Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Fall River and Wareham.

The new HomeGoods store will open on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Opening day hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The rest of the time, HomeGoods will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

HomeGoods is looking to fill positions at its new location. Applicants can search for opportunities on Indeed.

For help finding the new HomeGoods store, TJX Companies Inc. has linked to a Google Map with directions. The easiest way to access the store from New Bedford is to take Route 140 North to Route 24 North to the 495 Cloverleaf.
