Hidden Gem Rhode Island Buffet With A High Price, But Amazing Views
If the words 'unlimited lobster' appeal to you, then a trip to Charlestown, Rhode Island should be on your summer bucket list.
That's because Charlestown is home to an amazing "All-You-Can-Enjoy" buffet restaurant unlike anything you have ever seen.
The Nordic is a lakeside spot serving unlimited lobster, shrimp, crab, oysters, steak, salad and more every weekend. You can sit by the water sampling some of everything this summer, as long as the cost doesn't scare you away.
The Nordic is probably the most expensive buffet in all of Rhode Island. Some even say it's one of the most expensive buffets in the entire country, but between the food options and the location, this place seems completely worth it.

Eating "All-You-Can-Enjoy" seafood at The Nordic will set you back $135 per person. Though kids 8-12 are $60 and ages 3-7 are $35.
You can pile your plate with seafood and steak options, fresh fruits and veggies plus too many desserts to name. Then take your plate out by the lake, the firepits or even the farm animals to eat in a variety of settings.
Maybe it's the location that makes so many people willing to spend so much on the food.
The Nordic is definitely destination dining. In fact, the owners say people come from all over the country just to eat here.

You do have to follow a few rules when you come however. Like proper dress is required. No coming straight from the beach, The Nordic requires "proper casual attire."
You also can't camp out at the buffet all day, there's a maximum of two hours for dining.
You can however enjoy the grounds before and after your meal, so digesting all that lobster by the lake is absolutely an option.
