Heritage Hill Golf Course Lakeville Gets New Owners And Upgrades

A popular SouthCoast golf course has been sold.

Dean Hajedemos and Andrew Gildea, the owners of Champions Indoor Golf in Bridgewater and other locations, have taken over Heritage Hill Golf Course in Lakeville. The two new owners are taking the leap from indoor simulator golf into a full outdoor facility.

From Indoor Golf to a Full Course Experience

Hajedemos said the goal has always been to grow a strong golf community. After building that Champions community through indoor leagues and lessons, the next step was finding a place outdoors to bring everything together.

They believe Heritage Hill will be the perfect fit.

The Heritage Hill course is an 18-hole par 3 that offers challenges for all skill levels, including longer holes and tricky greens. Hajedemos said it is a great place for beginners, families, and more experienced players looking to sharpen their skills.

What Changes Are Coming to Heritage Hill

While the course itself will stay familiar to longtime players, there are some exciting upgrades on the way.

One of the biggest additions is new Toptracer technology at the driving range. Similar to the technology used at Topgolf, this system tracks golf shots and allows players to see distance, accuracy, and even play games or virtual courses.

The upgraded range is expected to be ready by mid-to-late April.

The team also plans to continue running junior programs, lessons, and clinics with the ultimate goal being to get more people across the SouthCoast playing the game of golf.

What About the Restaurant?

The Back Nine Pub will remain unchanged for the time being. They wouldn't dare change the popular bar pizza. A new chef and management team are in place, but the focus is on maintaining what people already know and love about the Back Nine.

A New Home For SouthCoast Golfers

For the time being, it looks like the new owners at Heritage Hill Golf Course will be playing it up the middle. They are not necessarily eager to change much about the course or the restaurant, yet will definitely be investing into their driving range with some fun technology.
