Heritage Hill Golf Course and The Back Nine restaurant are preparing for a major transition as ownership is getting ready to change hands.

While news of the sale has been bubbling under for some time in the town of Lakeville, it was confirmed this week in a number of Facebook posts from owner and developer Bob Poillucci.

Poillucci, who has owned the golf course and pub for the past two and a half years, announced he will be passing ownership to golf professionals Andrew Gildea and Dean Hajedemos. The new owners also operate Champions Indoor Golf and plan to expand programming at the course while maintaining the community atmosphere that has made Heritage Hill a popular destination.

New Ownership Plans For Heritage Hill

According to Poillucci, Gildea and Hajedemos plan to introduce membership programming, golf lessons, junior programs and youth camps. He said he believes the new leadership can elevate the course while continuing to support the restaurant and event space that have become staples for local visitors.

Poillucci said the new owners are also committed to maintaining the grounds crew and continuing the high level of course maintenance that golfers have come to expect.

What Customers Can Expect During The Transition

One of the most common questions from customers has been whether The Back Nine’s popular pizza will remain unchanged. Poillucci confirmed that the recipe will stay the same. He also assured customers that all previously sold gift cards will be fully honored under the new ownership.

Final Weekend Celebration Before Spring Reopening

Heritage Hill and The Back Nine announced their final day under current ownership will be Valentine’s Day, February 14. The business will close temporarily before reopening in the spring under new management, with an official reopening date expected to be announced later.

Customers are invited to celebrate the final weekend with live music performances, food and drinks. The Jeff Francis Duo is scheduled to perform Friday night, February 13, while Joe Mac will perform February 14. Organizers noted that menu options may be limited during the final days due to high demand.

Poillucci thanked customers, staff and the community for their support and said he looks forward to remaining a regular visitor at what he still considers his neighborhood pub. They will be saving a barstool for Bob for when he comes in as a guest.
