Falmouth Born Actor wins Golden Globe

He might have grown up in Cambridge but Casey Affleck was born in Falmouth believe it or not!

The Falmouth Library tweeted a shout out to the Golden Globe winner on Monday after his Best Actor win for his role on Manchester By The Sea.

I know that Casey along with his brother Ben and their mom spent a lot of time in Onset during the summers growing up but I did NOT know he was actually born ON Cape Cod.  Pretty cool!  Kudos to the Falmouth Library for digging it up 😉
