Gronk Logo Too Close To Jordan’s Says Nike
Apparently spiking a football looks a lot like dunking a basketball.
According to ESPN, Nike filed a formal opposition to the brand logo because of how it resembles the iconic Jordan brand logo.
I mean I can't lie... They DO look very similar as far as body position. Plus the Jordan "Jumpman," logo has been around since 1987. It's basically an institution now, so I can understand why they don't want someone grabbing Gronk gear thinking it's Jordan's.
Maybe they should just do a logo of Gronk dancing? That could work!
