Ever feel the need to just unplug and reconnect with nature?

Now that Spring has finally decided to show up on the Southcoast, take advantage of this free outdoor event coming up this weekend.

The Buzzards Bay Coalition welcomes you to join in a Mindfulness Walk on Saturday, April 14th. This one-hour stroll through Tinkhamtown Woodlands and Woodcock Preserve located at 29 Long Plain Rd. in Mattapoisett. It will take place from 11 am - 12 pm and be led by Jessica Webb, owner of Anchor Yoga.

"Through guided mindfulness meditation, you will experience nature with your senses wide open. These walks will be conducted at a deliberately slow and mindful pace in social silence without digital devices. All fitness levels are welcome. Please wear appropriate footwear for a walk through nature."
