The Bristol County DA's office and Brian Rose, former Red Sox pitcher, are hosting its fourth annual Free Family Fitness and Fun Day Saturday, March 23, at UMASS Darmouth.  Brian Rose joined the Fun Morning Show today.  Click here to listen: 

From noon to 4 p.m. families are encouraged to come out and try Zumba, Crossfit, and yoga. The UMASS fitness team will be there helping participants through an obstacle course and boot camp. Free health screenings will also be available from South Coast Mobile Health Serivces along with spinal and sublaxation screeings brought to you by Chiropractic USA. Local nutritional and wellness organizations will be on hand giving cooking demonstrations and promoting healthy eating.

This years' special guests include former NHL defenseman and UMD ice hockey coach, Brian Pothier, and Miss New Bedford, Jillian Zucco, will be singing the National Anthem to kick off the afternoon festivities.

You do not have to pre-register for the event but it is strongly encouraged.
