According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paula Abdul has sign with ICM Partners, and will become the judge on Fox’s 12th season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” which premieres in June.

She brings tons of “reality show judging” to the show. She recently served as the head judge on the format’s Australian version of “So You Think You Can Dance” and spent 8 seasons on the “American Idol” panel before jumping ship. She even spent a season judging the hit show, “X Factor.”

Abdul was discovered when she was a flourishing Laker Girl back in the mid-80s. Her 1989 debut album, “Forever Your Girl,” went multi-platinum with the help of her hit single “Straight Up.” That album ended up featuring four #1 singles that included “Opposites Attract,” which won a Grammy for “Best Music Video.”
