Emerging Details Into Famous Chef Gordon Ramsay’s Rhode Island Visit
Rumors were flying all over Rhode Island this weekend that a famous chef was coming to Narragansett to film.
Though the exact chef has yet to be named, all signs seem to point to British restauranteur, Gordon Ramsay.
Ramsay has been spotted at several restaurants along the East Coast filming for what some say is a new season of Kitchen Nightmares, but it may be an entirely new show that brought him to Rhode Island instead.
Where Was Gordon Ramsay Filming in Rhode Island?
On Sunday April 6, a line of customers was spotted outside Crazy Burger on Boon Street in Narragansett.

They were likely drawn there by two things.
1. Recent social media ads soliciting people to "Eat with us for free. Come be a part of an exciting televised dining experience for a brand new show in your community." Diners were asked to come April 6 or 7 at 10:45 A.M. and the subject line for emails asking to be included on the guest list was simply "Narragansett."
2. Crazy Burger had posted to their socials on April 3rd that the burger spot would be closed from April 5-10 "in order to refresh the restaurant."
Interestingly enough, the same mysterious ads had popped up in other cities too.
In Pennsylvania and Maryland, for example, the same ads were followed by Gordon Ramsay seen filming in local restaurants.
Add to all this that a television production company has applied for filming permits in Narragansett and we're pretty sure Ramsay is up to something inside Crazy Burger.
What Is Gordon Ramsay's New Show?
While lots of folks are assuming Ramsay is traveling to shoot a new season of Kitchen Nightmares for FOX, a local newspaper in Maryland says that might not be the case.
Frederick City Media reported that Ramsay is working on an entirely new show titled Restaurant Refresh. The famous chef was spotted filming in Frederick in early March at a seafood restaurant called Callahan's.

Reviews of this restaurant on Google seems to confirm that the restaurant saw some recent changes enacted by Ramsay, though people seem pretty divided on whether or not they are good changes.
Owners of Callahan's still haven't confirmed if Ramsay was even in their restaurant, so chances are Crazy Burger will be tight lipped for a while as well.
So far no photo evidence that Ramsay was in town has emerged and Crazy Burger says they will remain closed until Thursday April 10 at 12noon.
