Lately, Kenny Mark has been a familiar face at Christopher and Nate’s since Mee Sum closed its doors. According to Nate Silvia, one of the owners of Christopher and Nate’s, Kenny and his wife Regina became great neighbors and friends, often lending a hand with shoveling snow and maintaining the front walkway.

This friendship blossomed over time, with the Silvias regularly ordering take-out from Mee Sum. Now with the partnership in full swing, the famous chow mein sandwich will make a weekly appearance at Christopher and Nate’s.

The exciting collaboration involves Dominic Chen, owner of Mr. Chen Chinese Restaurant, who will generously lend Kenny his kitchen and woks to prepare the signature sandwich.

"I'm just happy that I can give him (Kenny) the space to do what he loves," Chen said.

Although the exact start date is still to be confirmed, Nate mentioned that the sandwiches "could" be available every Wednesday.

For those eager to get a taste, updates will be posted on the Christopher and Nate’s Facebook page, so fans of the chow mein sandwich won’t miss out on this highly anticipated return.

This collaboration between Christopher and Nate’s, Mr. Chen and Kenny Mark promises to bring the camaraderie back to downtown Fall River, one chow mein sandwich at a time.
