Fall River Brewing with Excitement as New Café Opens on South Main Street
Fall River is welcoming a new addition to its local scene with the grand opening of the Glass House Café, owned by Brandon Estacio, on Sunday, October 13.
Located at 524 South Main Street, the café will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, offering a fresh spot for coffee lovers and community members alike.
Estacio, who has run the neighboring Glass House Smoke Shop for seven years, saw an opportunity when the barber shop next door went up for rent.
“My wife and I are big into cafés, so we’re giving it a shot,” he said. Though connected to the smoke shop, the café will function as its own separate entity, offering a cozy and welcoming environment.
The Glass House Café plans to spotlight local products, collaborating with nearby businesses to create a unique, community-focused experience. The café will serve Mission Cold Brew coffee on six taps – boasting the most cold brew options in the area – alongside a selection of teas.
For hot coffee, they’ve partnered with Jim’s Organic Coffee, based out of West Wareham, with proceeds from Jim’s sales supporting Action Fall River, a nonprofit dedicated to community projects in the city.
Additionally, the café will feature a variety of treats from Christopher’s Eatery, thanks to a close partnership with owners Chris and Nate Silvia.
“We’re really excited to meet new faces and bring something fresh to Fall River,” Estacio said. “I want people to feel invited and welcomed. It’s going to be a great atmosphere with good vibes. We’re also open for private events after hours.”
With a commitment to community engagement through giveaways, parties and cleanups, Glass House Café aims to make a positive impact while delivering high-quality, locally-sourced products.
Stop by this Sunday to check out what could become Fall River’s newest hot spot for coffee and conversation.
