Wet Nose Wednesday has become my favorite day of the week. I get a chance to introduce the SouthCoast to deserving animals that are up for adoption in the area, and it’s been so heartwarming to see these furry friends find their forever home.

I’ve teamed up with animal shelters in the area in hopes of getting as many animals as adopted as possible. If you are in the market for a family pet, I ask that you consider adoption.

This week, get ready to fall in love with Chloe from the Fairhaven Animal Shelter.

One look at Chloe and you can tell she’s a fun spirit. Her bright, brown eyes and big smile warm my heart, and those floppy ears are begging to be scratched.

Don’t let those wrinkles fool you. Chloe is a four-year-old Shar-Pei mix that loves to be the center of attention. Her new owners will need plenty of sticks and tennis balls on hand because she loves to play fetch, and she would do best in an active home that enjoys playing and taking her for walks.

Terry Cripps, the director at Fairhaven Animal Hospital, tells me, “Chloe gets along with most dogs, but not cats. If you take a minute to meet her you can’t help but fall in love.”

If Chloe sounds like the perfect addition to your family, it’s time to meet her. Call the Fairhaven Animal Shelter to schedule an appointment and like them on Facebook.
