Ellen DeGeneres Sets Twitter Record With Selfie

Ellen DeGeneres set a Twitter record yesterday by having the most retweets on a tweet last night at the Oscars. Ellen tweeted a picture of herself during the shows with a bunch of stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts.

Ellen has now surpassed 2.5 million retweets. It took 34 minutes to have the selfie break the record previously held by President Obama with the picture of his victory of his re-election on November 6, 2012 with 780,000 retweets.
