Drunk Driver Flips Truck In McDonald’s Drive-Thru [PHOTO]

A Swansea man was charged with OUI after he flipped his truck in a McDonald's drive-thru Friday afternoon.

ABC6 reports that 22-year-old Andrew J. Estes was taken into custody after his vehicle struck the McDonald's at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 136.

Police say the truck's tires spun while Estes was in the drive-thru causing it to hit the curb, then strike the building and end up flipped on its side.

Estes was believed to be intoxicated at the time of the incident and was arrested at the scene.

He faces charges of OUI alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possession over one ounce of marijuana.
