Don’t Call Ariana Grande an Angel [WICKED OR WHACK?]
To us, it seems like this girl never stops. Ariana Grande just keeps cranking out songs and collaborations and drama, so I had high expectations for this track. It does feature three of the most powerhouse women in music today.
"Don't Call Me Angel" features Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Ray. They all have very distinct voices that are undeniable. This Charlie's Angels soundtrack lead track jumped all the way to No. 1 overseas, but America probably won't love it that much.
My own opinion, I think I may be in Ariana overload. The song is fun and definitely shows these girls having a blast.
In case you haven't heard the song or you missed me playing it on the radio, here is the music video. I do think the visual sometimes helps us like the song more:
Fun right? Don't get it twisted, I like the song. I just don't think it's going to be a chart-topper. It's no "Lady Marmalade" from Moulin Rouge. The different texture of their voices really make this song dynamic and they all bring their own style.
So what do you think? Will you jam out to this? I can see having a girls night in and turning this one up and grabbing a hairbrush and watching the movie and singing along to it.
If it'll be a radio hit, well, that's up to you. Get to voting now on whether you think this song is Fun 107 playlist-worthy or should this stay on the big screen and in our workout playlists.
