Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Call New England Patriots ‘Incredible’

As Patriots Nation readies for the AFC Championship, many are sharing their love and admiration for the team.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have long shown their loyalty to their hometown team, but now they’re making their feelings clearer than ever.

The New England Patriots did what many thought would be the impossible: they made it to the playoffs, and the AFC Championship to boot, during a season that, on paper, should've been a rebuilding year.

"It's incredible," Damon said. "No matter how far we go this year, I don't think anybody was expecting us to be here, and so that's very exciting."

"It's amazing," Affleck added.

From former Patriot-turned-head coach Mike Vrabel to the powerhouse players like Drake Maye and Stefon Diggs, this New England team is proving what hard work, talent and a bit on an underdog environment can do.

"I think every minute they play, they're gaining all this valuable experience and they play incredibly well together and they're incredibly well-coached, and there's no saying how far they can go," Damon said.

"We're with them for as long as they can go," Damon said. "We're excited for the future, We're in real good shape for the future and that's exciting."
