Singer Chris Brown has been released from a Los Angeles County jail earlier this morning after serving only 108 days of his sentence, according to TMZ.com.

He has been in custody since mid-March after he was arrested after expelled from a court-ordered rehab center for rule violations.

On May 9, Brown was sentenced to 131 days in jail by Supreme Court Judge James R. Brandlin. Previously he had served Brown with a year in jail but due to his good behavior behind bars and the time he had already spent in rehab his sentence was shortened.

His legal troubles are not over though. The trial looming from his D.C. assault case is due to start up in the next few months.
