Yesterday Len Goodman announced that the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars would be his last. Now a dance floor pro is leaving the hit show too.

Cheryl Burke's contract with Dancing ended this season and the former mirrorball trophy winner has chosen to try something new.

Burke says she is leaving ABC behind and is set to star in a new project for NBC in 2015.

But don't think NBC is trying a dancing competition out next year. Burke's new project is said to be a variety show where Burke will perform. The show's title is still being kept under wraps for now, with NBC only revealing that the show will include a competitive element (whatever that means.)

As for Burke herself, she says she's excited for the new show and for the chance to grow and do more than just dance.
