Burger King’s Twitter Account Gets Hacked and Starts Tweeting About Rival McDonald’s

Twitter is a growing place where businesses can get the word out about their companies latest thing. Fast food restaurants are taking advantage of this, but Burger King's twitter account was sending some very odd messages earlier today.

The Burger King twitter account was apparently hacked, but no one knows by whom. People were probably a bit surprised since the announcement on the twitter page said that Burger was bought by McDonald's. False. Just someone having a bit of fun.

According to the NY Post, the fake tweeting from the account went on for about an hour and a half before twitter suspended the account. Looks like BK will just fine, their social media team on the other hand has a bit of work to do in the mean time.
