If you have never been to a drag queen show, you might be missing out. I say "might" only because it's not for everybody. I'll admit that I've been to multiple shows in my lifetime, and it's a good time, every time.

My good friend Jackson, who does afternoons on Fun 107, invited me out for a drag queen dinner party over at the Tipsy Toboggan in Fall River this week. I was advised to bring my fiancee along and, to my surprise, she agreed.

Now, these shows tend to be a bit raunchy, but if you're someone who doesn't get offended by the little things, you'll fit right in with the provocative humor and lip-syncing.

As the show progressed, I noticed some couples in the audience on what appeared to be dates. It got me thinking: If you're looking for the real and raw personality of someone on a first date, then making reservations for a drag show is the way to go. You'll be able to instantly break the ice and determine if your date is a good match.

I get that not all people are into this type of entertainment, but if you're looking to let loose, why not expose your Tinder match or your Bumble bride to the sultry and risque world of drag?

My fiancee, for example, was somewhat mortified about the idea, but she was happy to crawl out of her shell for something new. It might not have entirely been her cup of tea, but it still made her laugh. It was a fun time, a harmless way to break free of your comfort zone.

Take my advice: The next time you swipe right on someone and you're looking to figure out if they're the one, drag them out for some drag.
