Brady, Belichick Donated Big Money To J.J. Watt’s Hurricane Relief Fund
Brady and Belichick tried to keep it low key, but J.J. Watt revealed their generous donations.
Hurricane season has been brutal this year and there have been a lot of famous figures trying to do their part to help all those affected. J.J. Watt was among those people when he started a hurricane relief fund and he revealed that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were rather generous with their donations.
According to CBS Sports, Watt said in an interview that Belichick personally donated $50,000 and Brady doubled that with a personal donation of $100,000.
"For them to step up at a time like that and just help their fellow human is pretty special and I think it speaks volumes to their character. They're good people, and it's much appreciated, for sure." - J.J. Watt
J.J. Watt's fund has raised more than $37 million dollars in total, according to CBS Sports.
Maybe the kind gesture will help keep J.J. Watt from trying to destroy Tom Brady this Sunday when the two teams face off in their Week 3 matchup. Either way, it's a great gesture from two great legends.
