Billy Boy Candies in New Bedford is for Sale

Being family owned and operated since the late 50's, Billy Boy Candies has been a staple of New Bedford's culture since its opening. When we first that it was going to be sold, our first instinct was to be slightly worried because the candy shop we know and love could be closed or we would have to adapt to some changes we might not like. But they aren't just selling it to some Joe Schmo off the street (even though I would buy it and start one of my many food business ideas), they are shopping around for a qualified buyer who may know what they're doing. With purchasing the candy store comes the goodies: 2,500 square feet of retail space, 8,500 square feet of building space, and two trucks and equipment all on-site at the buyer's disposal.
