A 200-lb Mastiff got himself stuck on Friday and the Tiverton Fire Department had to be called in to get him out.

The Department said firefighters from Shift 2 along with Tiverton Police Department Animal Control Officers were called this morning for a dog stuck in a vehicle.

They arrived at the scene to find a 200-lb Mastiff stuck in the back seat of a car between the seats and the center console.

They then shared photos from their rescue this morning on Facebook, which showed a pretty mellow dog considering the situation.

The dog was not injured in the incident.
