Cinco de Mayo is upon us and Sol beer is ready to help us celebrate! So now is the time to live mo' like B Mo.

I’ve always been a big tequila guy when it comes to Cinco de Mayo. I’ve never really dipped into too much beer to celebrate, but this year will undoubtedly be different. Now that I’ve had a taste of Sol beer, I need nothing else for Cinco de Mayo.

Once I tried it, I was hooked. I’ve been having my friends to try it too, and it’s unanimous that everyone loves it! It’s been around since 1899 and it’s been imported to the good ol’ U. S. of A. since the 1980s, but now it’s finally getting the love it deserves.

Just to kind of give you an idea of what you’re getting into, it’s got these delicious citrus notes balanced with a hop accent to round out a whole flavor experience. Absolutely delicious and it has such an amazingly crisp, clean finish.

Oh, and by the way, in a time where we’re all counting our calories, Sol beer has the fewest carbs and calories of all Mexican beers. That definitely is what I need with my wedding creeping up fast and needing to stay slim and trim.

If you want to get some Sol in your soul, you’re in luck. Sol beer will be out celebrating all weekend long for Cinco de Mayo! Come party with me and Sol beer Saturday and Sunday at Mi Antojo from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. each day. There will be mariachi bands, folklore performances, vendors and tons of authentic Mexican food. You'll also be able to get an ice-cold bucket of five Sol beers for just $20.

And Sol will keep the party going Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Frontera Grill in Fairhaven as well.

I better see you this weekend to celebrate Cinco de Mayo the right way, the B Mo way!
