BBB Warning Online Shoppers Of This Providence-Based Retailer

The Better Business Bureau has issued a warning to shoppers about an online retailer based out of Providence after receiving numerous complaints about the business.

The BBB's Business Profile of Max Novelty, an online retailer selling novelty clothing items, home goods, jewelry and more, says that the business is NOT BBB Accredited.

In the one year that the business has been operating, they've received nearly two dozen customer complaints, including several that have still never been resolved.

Among those complaints are mostly issues with shipping delays and lack of customer service.

Most consumers say that Max Novelty doesn't tell you the correct shipping period times and they are unable to be reached when you want a refund for your items.

The BBB also adds that they have tried several times to contact the business about their physical address (allegedly somewhere in Providence), their customer service contact information and even who the people behind the business are...but mail to the address on record is always returned to them.

They also haven't posted anything on their company Facebook page since July.

Clearly, all signs point to shady business on this one. So if you come across ads for Max Novelty and are tempted to buy one of their products...you may want to think again.
