Well, I guess this isn't a bad start!

So as you know, I'm trying to get my blubbery behind in shape for my wedding in June. I definitely was in absolutely no condition to get married as of three weeks ago. I was 226.5 pounds, and just a few pounds away from the heaviest I've ever been, constantly tired and just always eating and drinking the wrong stuff. It was a bad situation.

Heading into week three, I actually feel like progress is happening. Don't get me wrong, this is still at a point where it's hard as hell to stay on track and stay motivated. So far I haven't missed a day of the scheduled P90X workouts. And so far they've all been hell.

The good thing though is that I actually feel a lot better. I actually feel like I have a little more energy. I feel less fluffy and lethargic. To top it all off, as of today I'm down to 215 pounds. That's a grand total of 11.5 pounds lost since November 26. That's 11.5 pounds in 17 days. I can't at all be mad at that.

Seeing change definitely helps keep the head in the game, that's for sure. Here's to another solid 17 days. I have some things this weekend that definitely won't help stay on track, but here's hoping I can still make some good decisions and keep the momentum going.
