ABC6 Sports Director Nick Coit joined us this morning as he was boarding his plane to return back home from last night's thriller in Kansas City.

Nick was just as floored as we were with the AFC Championship. He shared a funny story about watching the tail end of the game from the tunnel with a few Kansas City Chiefs staffers. At the tail end of regulation, Brady threw a pass to Gronk which was deflected and intercepted, presumably sealing the win for the Chiefs.

"They see the play, we see the play on TV. These kids take off, down towards the field, they were like, 'Oh, we gotta go get ready.' The games over now, they won," Nick said. "And then we look up and we see the offsides call. One of those kids later, he comes back and he's looking up and he sees Sony Michel running for the end zone and he's like, 'Wait a minute.'"

It's worth mentioning that Nick's prediction of a 34-31 Patriots win during his Fun 107 appearance Friday morning wasn't far off considering the score was tied at 31-31 heading into overtime.
