This weekend is gearing up to be a fun one in Mattapoisett as local legend Teddy Goodz and company suit up for a wrestling show for all ages.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, LIVE Pro Wrestling will take over the Knights of Columbus in Mattapoisett at 5 p.m. for some family-friendly fun. Doors will open to the public at 4.

"Whether you're 8 years old or 80 years old, there's no profanity or inappropriateness, just good, old-fashioned, classy wrestling, just like our past shows at The Vault that people have grown to love," said Goodz, a Westport resident gaining national acclaim for his own work in the ring.

Several wrestlers performing have appeared on AEW, or All Elite Wrestling, an increasingly popular wrestling network.

"We're bringing in a lot of different wrestlers from different areas that you wouldn't see around here," Goodz said. "It's a really good mix, including a good friend of mine, Jora Johl, who moved from India to Massachusetts."

Tickets can be found at Cojo’s Toy World and Purchase Street Records. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door before the event but people are encouraged to purchase beforehand.
