World Record For Baseball Catch Set, But Doesn’t Count
Zack Hample is a sportswriter, and baseball collector and over the weekend, he set a world record for catching a baseball that was dropped from a helicopter hovering at over 1,000 feet.
It happened at the home of the Lowell Spinners, home of the Single A Affiliate of the Red Sox, but here is the "catch". Although it was a world record, no one made any arrangements for a member of the Guinness Book Of World Records to be there so - it doesn't count.
