Fenway Sold Out — Now Banana Ball Heads to Foxboro in 2026
It might be the most entertaining variation of baseball out there, and in the summer of 2026, it returns to Massachusetts.
Banana Ball, highlighting faster games, lots of fan interaction and some serious showmanship, has been growing in popularity, and nothing proves that like their 2026 season schedule.
The beloved Savannah Bananas have announced another major expansion of Banana Ball, with two teams joining the league and games being held in 45 states at 75 different stadiums. One of those stadiums is our very own Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

Origins and Rise of Banana Ball
The Savannah Bananas have come a very long way in recent years. Started in 2016 by Scituate, Massachusetts native Jesse Cole, the exciting and entertaining baseball variation really began to gain traction in 2022.

Soon the team went from playing sold out games at their 5,000 seat home stadium in Georgia to traveling the country playing in some of the most iconic stadiums in baseball history.
In fact, this past summer tickets for the Savannah Bananas at Fenway Park sold out quickly. They filled the 37,755 seat ballpark with screaming fans who couldn't wait to see more.
Now even more fans can.
Banana Ball Expands in 2026
For the 2026 season, the Savannah Bananas are going even bigger. The Banana Ball Championship League will include two new teams next season, the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns, and their venue sizes are growing again.

Though the team does still play home games in Georgia at the 5,000 seat Grayson Stadium, they have added a few college football stadiums to their lineup next season and even some NFL stadiums.
Savannah Bananas at Gillette Stadium
Gillette Stadium is one of those, with the team playing the Loco Beach Coconuts in Foxboro on August 28 and 29.
Considering how hard it was to get tickets for Fenway this summer, two games in a 65,000-seat stadium might be your best bet for finally seeing this team play live.
