Worcester Red Sox Announce Changes for 2025
Take me out to the WooSox!
It's been five years since the Red Sox Triple-A affiliate made their move to Wormtown and they're looking ahead to the upcoming baseball season with some new changes.
The Worcester Red Sox announced yesterday that the organization will be making improvements to Polar Park for the 2025 season. The team opens its season at the end of March and fans in attendance will notice some new additions.
"We love helping our fans make life-long memories with their family and friends. The new features for 2025 are all geared towards enhancing the fan experience, so regardless of the final score, you will have had a wonderful time at Polar Park," WooSox public address announcer Ben DeCastro said.
What Elements Will Be Added to Worcester's Polar Park?
- Plenty of seating is on the way for WooSox fans. ADA seating will increase with the addition of 18 more accessible seats and more Adirondack chairs will be added.
- A climate-controlled pavilion in right field capable of holding up to 60 guests.
- Additional drink rails located above the visiting team's bullpen.
- Season ticket holders will enjoy a new climate-controlled lounge. The Royal Wooters Club features a bar and a special pool table that was once owned by Larry Lucchino. Club members can also watch games from private suites.
- WooSox fans can work on their skills in the new batting cages near the team store.
- New food will be offered including BBQ brisket, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, mac and cheese, tacos, fried Oreos, fried mozzarella, corn dogs and specialty fries.
- Woofster's Landing, a popular spot for fans to see their favorite mascots, will add more amenities.

The City of Worcester has also done its part to add to the ambiance of the ballpark. More lighting under the Madison Street bridges will add to the safety of fans as they walk to and from games.
The Worcester Red Sox take on the Syracuse Mets on Opening Day, Friday, March 28 at 3:05 p.m.
