Drake Maye’s Celebrity Softball Game Delivers Big Moments

The inaugural MayeDay Family Foundation Celebrity Softball Classic was held Sunday, May 31, at Polar Park in Worcester.

Drake Maye and his wife Ann Michael hosted the event where dozens of their celebrity friends and teammates showed up to support a great cause while entertaining fans.

Patriots Hall of Famer Julian Edelman, PWHL star and Olympic gold medalist Megan Keller, comedian Matt Rife and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy were among the many famous faces to participate.

Ann Michael Maye Delivers a Standout Performance

Drake hit a couple of home runs during the event and his wife, Ann Michael, proved the skills at the plate clearly run in the family. A left-handed hitter, Ann Michael dominated, reaching first base in every at-bat and receiving a huge ovation from the crowd.

She wasn't the only one who was well-received by the fans. Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel was in attendance and felt the love from Polar Park.

Patriots Players Connect With Young Fans

To cap off the event, New England Patriots players, including Will Campbell and a barefoot Mack Hollins, took the jerseys off their backs and signed them for young fans.

Boston Children's Hospital Receives Major Donation

More importantly, the first-ever MayeDay raised a lot of money for local children. Their foundation aims to "provide children and families enduring hardship with the assistance and support needed to achieve a brighter future."

Drake and Ann Michael Maye presented a check for $80,000 to Boston Children's Hospital.
