Our very own Willie Waffle filled us in on the biggest movies this week: The Turning and The Gentlemen.

Using his patented Waffle rating system, Willie Waffle gives you his expert opinion, so you don’t waste your cash on a flick fail.

Listen to Willie Waffle’s movie review below. You can also hear it live on Fun 107 every Friday morning at 6:35 a.m.

The Turning

"A young governess is hired by a man who has become responsible for his young nephew and niece after the deaths of their parents. A modern take on Henry James' novella "The Turn of the Screw"." -IMDb

"Scientists have to abandon their underwater lab when an earthquake hits.  What's out there on the ocean floor?" -Willie Waffle

The Gentlemen

"A British drug lord tries to sell off his highly profitable empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires." - IMDB

"Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne run and own a cosmetics business that has attracted a rich buyer that could bail them out of debt." - Willie Waffle

WILLIE WAFFLE'S POINT SYSTEM:

The Turning=  1 Waffle

The Gentlemen =  2 1/2 Waffles

*The Waffle Spectrum ranges from 0 to 4 Waffles*.

Willie's choice this week goes to The Gentlemen starring Matthew McConaughey and Charlie Hunnam over The Turning. Personally, if you still haven't had the chance to see 1917 yet, I would highly recommend seeing that instead while it's still in theaters. It's simply one of those films that you have to see at least once in your life to truly respect our veterans who have fought and died for our freedom in this spectacular World War I film.
