Birds of Prey

"After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord." - IMDB

According to Willie Waffle, he thinks that this is an okay movie, in this movie they try to shape Harley Quinn into a new character, as a feminist antihero. He thinks there's a good attempt at trying to start a franchise. In his opinion, the whole movie is bland, boring and very stereotypical.

Oscar Picks

WILLIE WAFFLE'S POINT SYSTEM:

Birds of Prey =  2 Waffles

*The Waffle Spectrum ranges from 0 to 4 Waffles*.

When it comes to the Oscars, Willie Waffle claims that the movie with the most nominations wins Best Picture, which this year is Joker. But Willie thinks that there is no way that the Oscar voters are going to vote for Joker for best picture because it’s a comic book movie. Which is a shame, in Willie’s opinion, because he thinks it's one of the best movies of the year. If Joker won on Sunday night he would be very happy but shocked. The voters are going to pick the more traditional and safer choice 1917 for Best Picture.

But he thinks Joaquin Phoenix is going to win Best Actor, though. He says that Phoenix's performance was one of the best ones he has had in a while. He thinks that for Best Actress, Renée Zellweger will make a comeback and will win for her performance in Judy. He thinks that it is going to be an interesting show and hopes there still will be no host. Also, for Best Director, he believes that Sam Mendes will win for his work with 1917.
