J-Lo and A-Rod are challenging their friends and Instagram followers to join them for a NO carbs or sugar 10-day diet. So this morning, I challenged Michael and Gazelle to join me in the challenge.

Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez decided that enough was enough with the carbs and sugar they indulged in over the holiday season and recently kicked off a 10-day challenge to eat clean. That means no carbs and sugar for 10 ENTIRE days. Here is Jen's list of what you and cannot eat for the full 10 days.

Both Michael and Gazelle pointed out that this Sunday's Super Bowl would be smack in the middle of the 10-day challenge and therefore, they're out.

So I came up with an alternative plan: we start tomorrow (Tuesday) and stay committed through Saturday, which would be five days. We take a break for the Super Bowl on Sunday, then we pick back up for the remaining five days of the challenge Monday through Friday. Does this sound fair to you? I think so.

Unfortunately, we don't have personal chefs and fitness trainers to make this challenge a whole lot easier for us. Wouldn't that be nice? Regardless, I am in need of a good kick (in the butt) start and am going to give it my best. We'll see who's on board come tomorrow morning.
